10. Alpha Mox Pearl Estimated value: $4500 – $23500
Starting off the list is Mox Pearl. As a member of the legendary power 9 set of cards, Mox Pearl as been entering play for free and tapping to produce one white mana since 1993. Versions of the card from unlimited can go for as little as $4500 while graded versions of the card see asking prices of over $23k on Ebay.

9. Alpha Mox Emerald Estimated value: $5500 – $25000+
At number nine on the list is Mox Emerald. The green variant of of the Mox artifacts. Mox Emerald was released in the original Magic set called Alpha Edition. It “taps” for one green mana and does a great job at casting craw wurm.
Graded Alpha versions typically see asking prices of around $20k on Ebay.

8. Alpha Underground sea Estimated value: $7000 – $26400
The only non “power 9” card to make the list. Underground Sea is the most sought after of the dual lands from the original sets. Why? Very simple, blue and black were easily the strongest colors in the original format. Ala Dark Ritual, Ancestral Recall, Counterspell etc.
Getting one will only cost about $1k for a revised version, Alpha is around $19k for a graded BGS 8.

7. Alpha Mox Jet Estimated value: $7000 – $25000+
Introducing Mox Jet… many a Vampiric Tutor, Demonic Tutor, and Yawgmoth’s Will have been cast off of this valuable piece of the power 9. It you are looking to sinkhole your opponent on turn one then it will cost you upwards of $25k to get a hold of an alpha graded mox jet to help you do it!

6. Alpha Mox Ruby Estimated value: $13000 – $26000+
Mox Ruby is a member of the “Power 9” just like most of the cards on this list.
Ruby taps for one red mana. A popuplar card it casts is “Pyroblast” in the Vintage format. “Pyroblast” counters any blue spell or destroys any blue card for a very efficient price of one red mana.
The pricing of an Alpha Mox ruby is about $26K on the high end for graded versions.

5. Alpha Mox Sapphire Estimated value: $13000 – $28000+
The last Mox artifact on this list! Mox Sapphire! The blue variant of the moxen and naturally the most powerful.
Keep your opponents guessing as to whether or not you’re holding counterspell in your hand as early as turn one with this powerhouse of a card.
A graded Alpha Mox Sapphire has an asking price of over $28k.

4. Alpha Timetwister Estimated value: $16000 – $29000+
The value of timetwister has inreased dramatically in just a mere decade. About ten years ago it was only a few hundred dollars!
Timetwister resets players hands and graveyards. Both players must draw a new hand of 7 cards and shuffle their graveyards back into their decks.
Picking up a graded alpha version can cost over $29k!

3. Time Walk Estimated value: $17000 – $30000
And now for the top three! Time Walk let’s you take an extra turn in a row, and for only two mana! Now who would say “no” to that deal?
Alpha graded Time Walk sells for as much as $30k today.

2. Alpha Ancestral Recall Estimated value: – $19000 – $35000
Say hello to one of the most powerful MTG cards ever made. Ancestral Recall. Drawing three cards from your deck for only one blue mana is a bit too good of a deal.
As such it was restricted to one card per deck a long ago.
Graded alpha ancestral recalls can cost up to $35k!

1. Alpha Black Lotus $60,000 – $1,200,000
And finally the number one card on the list. You guessed it! Black Lotus.
The most iconic card in the game, featuring beautiful artwork from Christopher Rush, is the Legendary Black Lotus.
Black Lotus gives players access to 3 mana instantly for no cost and is one of the most powerful cards in Magic the Gathering.
And as such rightfully claims its spot as the most expensive magic card.
On the high end you could pay over a million dollars if you want possesion of a pristine graded Alpha version of the card.
